The monograph is a broad overview of the history of the Waldenses, the unique "heretical" dissident movement of the Middle Ages that has survived to our time. It describes the movement's emergence and its expansion in various regions of Europe—from Spain to Poland. The book focuses on the features of the functioning of Waldensian communities in different socio-political and socio-economic circumstances. The second part of the book consists of more than 90 documents related to the history of the Waldenses, translated by the author from Latin into Belarusian. |
